Stage 4: Customize One Place IVR System
- Note on Video driver resolution:
- Should remain at 800 x 600 65536 colors, 60 hz.
- Change SQL Server "sa" password to current production
password on client machine (see Matt or Scott if you're unsure)
- Basic setup of client IVR system (perform from Client machine)
- Assign a Test IP address (207.250.46.30 - 207.250.46.40)
- Set Production Administrator password, SQL Server password.
- Run AUTOLOG.EXE, enable auto login as Administrator.
- Test DNS entry of server name by a ping from a machine that does not use lmhosts
- Setup the infrastructure on the client IVR Server (perform from
your workstation)
- Configure Reporting
- Run Internet Service Manager
- Select Properties for Console Root/Internet Info
Server/client_code/Default Web Site
- On Home Directory tab: Set Local Path =
"d:\OnePlaceIVR\client_code\report"
- On Documents tab: Add "default.asp" to default documents
list.
- On Client Machine, open d:\oneplaceivr\clientcode\ in Windows
Explorer. Right-click reports to set NTFS permissions. Add IUSR_machinename user to have
Read access to Reports and the files within it. "http://client_code"
- Use Internet Explorer to test report menu at
"http://client_code" Be sure a dialog box password does not come up.

- Base IVR software install
- IVRcontrol.exe, IVRchannel.exe installed in
d:\OnePlaceIVR\client_code\config\
- Site Specific Code Customizations
- Voice Prompts
- Integrated Testing
- Install UPS software and test
- Configure Tape Backup and run one full backup
- (New 10/15/99) Immediately before boxing up and
shipping the server, use Event Viewer to clear
the NT System log.
