Scanning
INTER PRINTER SCANNING PROCEDURES
Using Photoshop's TWAIN feature, scan each photo in to be 75% larger than the
greatest dimension it will be used at. This is done so that any adjustment of the image size
will minimally affect the quality of the image.
- Set the scanner to 300 dpi mode, adjust marquee to width and height
(* for Keyes-Gateway, see below), and bring into Photoshop
- Change mode to CMYK before making any color adjustments
- Color correct as needed, including sharpening if necessary
- Crop photo down to the head and shoulder area of the agent, allowing a slight
amount of photo coverage below the head shot for picture usage and
template variations.
- Photos will be saved as J-Pegs, with a quality factor of 6
- Save photo in the corresponding clients' folder on pokeman\photos\300dpi\clientfolder\agentnumber.jpg
* FOR KEYES-GATEWAY PHOTOS:
Follow directions from above. The width and height, at the 75% larger size, is calculated to
2.37 (height) 1.75 (width). Each photo will need the marquee to be adjusted, as all photos will
eventually need to be cropped down differently.
